The alliance against Google - Microsoft, Yahoo and eBAY
Anand talks about the great Alliance against Google
Economist here has an article comparing the tussle between Google, Microsoft and Yahoo with the 19th Century Eurpoean battles between Napolean and rest of Eurpean countries.
It’s kind of funny to me as I don’t see Google as how Napolean was seen in the 19th Century - Invincible.
The articles goes on to say,
By forging an alliance among those three top companies to create a “balance of power” against Google. Google’s enemies, he might say, ought now to do the same thing that European countries did to bring down Napaolean.
This means W-O-W. Imagine - Microsoft, Yahoo and eBay together. He heh! That would be one hell of a force to recon with. Not just money power - but between these three there are enough capable thinking heads to turn things around.

Napolean Bonapart (Bone apart?) cannot be compared with any one.
Churchill, Rosevelt, Subash bose from India or Samurai and more, historical heroes.
But present day CEO’s have valour, bravery and brain for what? To become big in terms of economy. They need not have the best swords, cannons, horses, arrows,(elephnats in India) and infantry.
They onle need a pool of outsourced clever people from other countires and bargaining brain power to be in the market or throw others out of the market. No muscle power. Only Raw and Crude intelligence and Political Amenedments.
So this battle is new one. I am sure if Napoleon would have been alive he will defeated in just a few meetings and minimum efforts and poor Napolean would have fallen bone apart and settle for as a dumb employee.
On the other hand if he is Napolean MBA or a drop out and has connections with proper people he will ruin and dominate.
Man is the same. Fighting methods and machineries are different. But BRAIN has the same power than DEEP BLUE which at least once was beaten by Kasparaov or Karpov?
Long Live Napolean, Chrchill and Hitler. And Einstein who said when his death was nearing that the greatest mistake he did was to helpinvent Nuclear Bomb. We all know the reat - whether it is for the right cause or winning.
