Cricket World Cup – Last minute luck for other teams than Australia
Brett Lee ankle injury is really a setback for Australia. He is a match winner and I was sure Australia will win the World Cup 2007, a few months back seeing their Ashes sweep. But their washout against New Zealand is a shock. And the entire team is total disarray.
Next comes New Zealand. as the favorites. The West Indies pitches will suit them.
As for Pakistan and West Indies sure West Indies have home grounds and crowd for a chance to win.
And India? Hard to predict. Though strong in batting, bowling is weak and sure spin won’t work in Windies pitches.
Sure the World Cup 2007 will be a distraction for students. And Doordarshan is going to relay all matches!
