Sir, there is difference between aggression and abuse – Do you need one more Sir, Sir?

Sir Garfield Sobers has allowed many batsmen on 99 to score a century, by giving instruction to his bowlers bowl accordingly. He is an outstanding sportsman.

That is why he received the Sir before his name from Queen of England.

It is a different matter if England is right or wrong.
Who are they to decide who is Sir or not?

Many colonial countries are still slave in their minds even after freedom!

But I feel Sobers is above all this. And how would one feel when he comments, “I like Australian aggression”

Sir, simple people like me know the difference between ABUSE and aggression!

Australians are famous for abuse and awful on-field behaviour.

Sir, you must understand without aggression you cannot win a game. And many countries recently have battered Australians without abuse!

But abusing and winning is totally different, which is special only to Aussies.

How did you miss this simple aspect, Sir Sobers? Is it part of game plan or to get one more Sir, Sir?

In that case I like King Richards better!

Did he really allow a batsman to score ONE run to reach his 100? Wow! That is sportsmanship at it’s best. No wonder he got honoured by the Queen.
