No film has moved my mind like Kadal and Kathal Konden (Dhanush) in recent times.

The Kannada re-make of Kadal as Chelivina Chithaara. Is great. I do not know Kannada.
But my guess is the title suggests:”The One who I loved – a Story Or a Nice Painting?”

The plot is strong and convincing – a girl (Amulya) falling in love with a two-wheeler mechanic (Ganesh).

It is all about adolescent love.
Aishwarya (Amulya) happens to see Madesha (Ganesh) in an embarrassing situation and she laughs at his pathetic condition.

Taking offence at her reaction, he chides Aishwarya and advises her to behave like a responsible girl. She falls in love with him.

When she comes to know that her wedding is fixed, she elopes with Madesha to Bangalore and marries him. However, Aishwarya’s uncle traces them and brings them back to her father’s place, where his community people are waiting for them.

The story then moves towards its climax.

Komal provides much needed comedy and breaks the monotony.

Music director Manomurthy has failed in this assignment. Photography is also not up to mark.

It is worth watching if you do not expect Ganesh;s performance on par with his earlier performances.
Summary: The overall opinion is that the film is not tune with Kannada culture and a poor re-make.
In Tamil it was a huge success with young and old appreciating the cinema, which happened in real life!

Love must be great whether it is Kannada or Tamil. But making it as a film is different for the audience to enjoy or cry!

Let us leave the problemod NIMITZ to the politicians. The Indian defence officals say it is a routine thing and there is no possible radiation threat.

Now Sivaji as per the reviews on TV channels and print media says – With Shankar the Director, Screenplay and other responsibilities could have been better which is the forte of Shankar.

But may be Shankar had different ideas - The name BOSS – Bachelor of Social Service is enough to carry on the screen script.

Only here I differ. Because Rajini apart from the fight scenes in real life controls his Fan association and they have helped more in locating people (old or young) with an eye camp organizing, And giving free treatment at Sankara Nethralaya with transport and after care.

I wish Rajini had more Fan associations than any political leader.

Researchers have developed an intelligent text-mining tool which is tuned to the way humans think, speak and ask questions.

Type “what Steve Jobs said yesterday” into the so-called FactSpotter tool and the software will hunt through documents and return a handful of relevant answers, instead of churning out countless articles containing the Apple CEO’s name.

But the FactSpotter software will not be available to the public over the Internet or otherwise-–only to customers of document management company Xerox, which developed the text-miner tool.

Jean-René Gain, director and general manager of marketing, strategy and alliances at Xerox, told ZDNet Asia’s sister site Silicon.com Xerox will not sell FactSpotter as a stand-alone application but as an embedded app to its customers.

Gain said: “We are not taking on Google with this. It is an aside option to consider but we need this technology to differentiate ourselves [from our competitors].”

Mario Jarmasz, technology showroom engineer at Xerox, said: “Xerox is not creating a Google killer. This is completely different from searching on Google because we can drill down to certain levels of detail.”

The document-heavy legal and litigation market will first be offered the FactSpotter tool, which will be available by 2008.

Xerox also predicts the text-miner software will be useful in other situations where information must be retrieved from a massive database, including corporate and government searches, drug discovery, fraud detection and risk management.

Christopher Dance, laboratory manager at Xerox, said FactSpotter could also be used to manage the vast number of documents which are produced during large mergers and acquisitions.

FactSpotter can hunt for relevant documents at a rate of 2,000 documents per second. Dance explained the next stage of the development process will be to speed up the software.

The tool uses a linguistic engine which analyzes the meaning of words and the construction of phrases and sentences to work out exactly what a user is hunting for.

FactSpotter also recognizes concepts in a search term. To use the previous example, when a user types in “what Steve Jobs said yesterday”, the tool will break down the sentence and recognize “Steve Jobs” as a person and “yesterday” as a time.

Frédérique Segond, parsing and semantics area manager at Xerox, said: “[Xerox is] trying to make a computer understand text like a human being.”

Segond added the FactSpotter tool is the next step for searching documents and uses “Web 3.0″ technology which connects data, whereas Web 2.0 apps only collect data.
