Ponting and Symonds should not have involved themselves in war of words after winning the series. They cautioned India that the team will have a tough time in summer when they visit Australia.

But India proved good now and in winter. Let the summer come. India will fight and who knows India will beat Australia! Sure Dhoni and his attitude is worth praising. One should see the face of Ricky Ponting when Australia was in the process of defeat. Losing and winning are part of the game.

Murali Karthik took advantage of the spin wicket and took six wickets. He supported Zaheer Khan who fired fours and sixes like Arnold in Commando in the final one day at Wankhede stadium.

Indian Batsmen really failed. With 193 to score Sachin Tendulkar had no answer to Brett Lee! And other followed suit. The hero of Twenty-20 Robin Uthappaa and the bowlers Zaheer, Harbhajan and Murali Karthik showed brilliance with the bat. And Murali Karthik won the match for India with a boundary.

Crowds at Wankhede really had a thrilling match to watch, which should be the final match before the stadium will be rebuilt to be the best in Asia.

Years back when I was in my college days I got my first driving licence for a two-wheeler (motorbike). Those days the driving institutes apart from teaching to drive a two-wheeler taught general road rules, signs and some sections of vehicles act.

The basics that I learnt, I remember and follow. The first thing is ACC. Anticipation Consideration and Concentration.

As a driver on the road I have to anticipate the situations and people on the road well ahead. For example in the school zone I must expect the kids rushing and crossing the road. I must expect the city bus halting at bus stops and applying air brakes. At turnings I must slow down and in blind turnings I must horn. There are many things I must expect inside the city and on the highway.

For Anticipation I must know the road signs as one of the needs for safe driving. The signs included National, General and International. And I must know them to pass the test. There was no excuse.

The Consideration part trains to have and show patience when a cyclist, pedestrian, old aged people, kids, handicapped or any person tries to use the road who has with a lesser power on the road (driving and non-driving). Of course I cannot afford and should not take risks with big vehicles! Let it be water/milk/petrol tank carrier or a bus, car or any vehicle with greater driving power.

Concentration is simple to understand but difficult follow practically. Simply stated once I start the engine I have to forget the worries of Home, Office, Time and Traffic Jams and concentrate on the road. Sure no mobile phones.

I was trained for my own safety for which I am responsible. (so do all those a few years back)

I had leant Sections 81(a) to 81 (f) if I remember correctly. Again these sections are not complicated and teaches a driver not to overload the capacity of the (for example in a two-wheeler not more than two people should travel), not to leave the engine idling etc.

The fees for LLR (Learners Licence) was Rs.2/- and for a permanent licence Rs.11/-.
And sure you have to show signs for turning left, right and put an S (called 8 also), and park the vehicle correctly.

After holding the licence for many years I failed to renew it.
I had to take the test again. And I got the LLR and Permanent Licence.

But the procedure like learning the basics were not there. It is all due to so much rush of vehicles and people.

Traffic authorities then in Egmore and today’s RTO are good and same keeping up with the increase of vehicles, same bad roads, pollution, irritant and impatient drivers.

Thank God I belong to the Old Good School of following the Basics on the Road. And I met with some accidents which was due to my fault and arrogance, forgetting the basics.

The name Iraq, means country with deep roots.
Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel, has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq

And also, This is something to think about: Since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages …

Freddy and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord’s team was playing against Satan’s team.

The Lord’s team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs.

They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate named ‘Love.’ Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because “Love never fails.”

The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works with Love.

The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch.
Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass: Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked because he never swings at what Satan throws.

The bases were now loaded. The Lord then turned to Freddy and told him He was now
going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Freddy said, “He
sure doesn’t look like much!”

Satan’s whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen! But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by.

He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; the roaring crowds went wild as the ball continued over the fence . for a home run!

The Lord’s team won!

The Lord then asked Freddy if he knew why Love, Faith and Godly Wisdom could get on
base but couldn’t win the game. Freddy answered that he didn’t know why.

The Lord explained, “If your love, faith and wisdom had won the game, you would think
you had done it by yourself. Love, Faith and Wisdom will get you on base but only My
Grace can get you Home: ‘For by Grace we are saved, it is a gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Psalm 84:11, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory;
no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

Jesus ‘Test This is an easy test; you score 100 or zero. It’s your choice. If you aren’t ashamed to do this, please follow the directions. Jesus said, “If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.”

Not ashamed! Pass this on; if you mean It.
I do Love God. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I am nothing, but with him:
