Booking Tata Nano Car
The hyped Tata 1 lakh car was launched earlier today at the Delhi Auto Expo 2008. TATA is yet to announce the bookings for the car publicly and the TATA website to does not have any information on that same. I am guessing that the bookings for TATA NANO is going to be chocked like hell and there is going to be a waiting period of several months. If I remember the television interview right, Ratan TATA said the countrywide launch is only by September 2008. Hmmm…
For now the best bet is to call up your nearest TATA dealer and strike a deal with him to get a early delivery once the NANO car rolls out of the TATA factory.
In fact, you can even try giving him a token advance and block the booking for you.

This is really very nice car and it looks like value for money. As there are two variants in NANO, do any one know what will be the difference in specification and how much will be the price difference as well.

Dear Sir,
Really it will rock the Indian Automobile Market. Only worry whether the production will meet the demand or not and how the traffic jam will be controlled in Metros. Due to its price and look every body will like to have it. In the coming years the Tata Nano will have major impact in the Automobile industry and other manufactures have to rewamp their models and prices. The sales of Two wheelers will also be affected.
Any way it may bring a big change in Indian Auto industry. Hats off to Mr. Ratan Tata for his innovative idea.

Nano Tata car is some thing like breaking the speed barrier, from subsonic to supper sonic boom. Input was Ratan Tata+500 workforce+Rs 1700 crore+3 years.I am a retired R&D scientist, it is a great fit.,bravo to team leader Ratan Tata. He should not stop hear. Already struck belly of other automakers. His next step should be Nano Auto -Plane [aviation]. Means,, this Nano- AP, will slide in the aviation launcher. Bi plane version.Like Tiger Moth. Flying range 2000 km. 5 seater at Rs 10 laths. Let him kick the aviation makers of world.
