Am I different from others?

There was a nice program on Vijay TV “Neeya Naana”.
The subject was simple people with tatoo, bracelets and modified and vintage bikes were on one side. And normal people on other side.

The ‘different people’ argued that they have achieved something extra other than routine life of cooking, going to office and passion for bikes.

The normal people said that the different people achieved only to show that they are different. For example one young man said “My grandma in village makes excellent tattoos!” He meant the “Pachai Kuthal”. One should see the face of the Lady who holds all-India record for Tatoo design and she has been interviewed by Kumudam.

When I feel I am different from others, it is wrong. I should do things differently and other should be Happy about it. They need not appreciate me. This may be even a kadi joke or appreciating one from my heart.

My God – Coffee house article is worth reading. And I love madan cartoons from vikadan. Click below to read more:

Sugar free Diabetic sweets and chocolates

Whatever may be the cause, once I come to understand that I am a diabetic all white things like refined sugar, rice and milk are poison for me.

There are lot of artificial sweeteners available and even roadside tea shops offer them. So much increase in diabetics.

Once I am advised by the Doctor that I should avoid taking candies or chocolates, the craving for chocolates becomes more. There are varieties of artificially sweetened sweets available in the market. Again my doctor warns me to check for calories!

diary milk
Cadburys Dairy Milk accounts for a sale of 1 crore units per day and a third of the company’s revenue.
Cadburys India has recently launched Diabetic chocolate and is priced at Rs28/- for a 40 gm bar.

It is a welcome thing for chocolate loving people. Again I should focus on eating little and not become addictive to sugar free chocolates! Mind is strong but the flesh is weak!

Valued at about Rs 1,800 crore, Cadbury holds a market share of 71 per cent in the chocolate market in the country.

Out of the 150 million urban population in the country, about 30 million are diabetic.

Chennai the tolerant city allows Jodhaa Akbar

Jodhaa Akbar, a fact or fiction is a love story of Akbar the Great and a Rajput Lady Jodhaa Bai. It has been made into a film by Ashutosh Gowarikar. The film has been running to packed houses in Chennai after TZP (Taare Zameen Par).
jodhaa akbar
The film has been banned in many Northern States, recently Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. One should respect the beliefs and sentiments of other communities while writing a story or taking a film.

Is the Chennai crowd docile, careless or really want to see a film and forget history?
It’s the other way around. Many Tamil films have raised controversies while Hollywood films like Jesus by Mel Gibson and Da Vinci Code and Bollywood ones Fire, Water and Parzania ran to packed houses.
Chennai is a tolerant city and allows Jodhaa Akbar to run!
