America or the USA is the Country of Opportunity for the World. You get employment, Research aid, business support and get the remuneration in dollars, the universal currency.
Most people go to USA and settle down. They become machines, earn money and realize their dreams in Life. Their outlook on Life itself changes. Some become civilized, cultured and status symbols. Some become civilized but not cultured.

Civilization is a vague term and has only a broad general definition. For example here in India, when people enter our Houses they are treated with great respect equal to God. It takes deeper sense of understanding how we pray, welcome and treat God in every human, thing moving or inert and in us.

So a Guest is treated with a Love from heart, given water, a place to relax and then the conversation begins on climate, health and enquiry about his relatives. Great care is taken to talk to him with Hitam (not to wound him by words, thought and action).

When a Guest visits often, he becomes a friend. For Him also the same formalities are observed, but the level of talk becomes informal and colloquial.
Here only a very small fraction of treating a Guest is taken in our civilization. But a sample is enough to make judgement of the whole. Here we do not discuss practical life of getting visa to USA, which has got the right to deny or permit taking into consideration the country as a whole.

Bombay did not deny Lakshmi the permit to enter the city and is the dream city of riches.
