Warning to ISP and Net Neutrality Law

All of us have observed that when we download our favourites from Internet the speed reduces dramatically. This is because the ISP (in my case AirTel) monitors my system, checks what I do and accordingly sets the lowest speed for data transfer. This is interfering with my Privacy.

This is where Net Neutrality Law comes. It says ISP has no authority to check what I am doing. Now there are softwares to check what ISP is doing to my system and I can take the help of Law to establish my right to privacy.

The software will spot IP packets which are forged or modified between clients, inform you, and give you copies of the modified packets. Internet users can use tools to test their Internet connections and gather evidence about ISP interference practices. There are softwares designed to detect the modification or injection of packets of data traveling over IP networks, including those introduced by anti-P2P (Point to Point) tools.

So this is a warning to ISP sure. And I will be sending a mail and talk to my ISP AirTel. (ISP - Internet Service Provider). I request all my visitors to take advantage of this Net Neutrality Law so that a better system of browsing and downloading evolves and we save time.

I think airtel in a way does something similar to what you are saying here…

Is it? AirTel is already blocking and filtering packets? This is not good… what do they mean by saying “unlimited bandwidth” then? They are limiting it anyways for certain type of activities…
