The total solar eclipse lasted four minutes. It is a fact which has been put in the Panchangam of all Hindu from the days I remember. Even when printing was not there, there were Panchangam readers in every village and towns who used to say correctly when the solar and lunar eclipses will occur that year. They had a precise calculation method, compared to the computers today.

The computers today are used to calculate perfectly the heavenly bodies visible and other non visible things also. The rate at which the calculations are carried out can be done only by computers to the perfect scale and of such magnitude. And it is forty years after man has landed on moon. It is total perfection that can enable man to land on moon. And we are viewing, talking and are able to reach any place on Earth within hours. Science has improved and we have started to enjoy it.
