Ambimama - India

Got two books to read as suggested by my son, “five point someone” and “2 states”. At just Rs95/- each!
I have first started with five point someone. The reading is not like that of any Western author. All Indian words and no fantasy writing. It is all pure Indian and exactly suits the surroundings. I was once amused to take my relative to an IIT, Chennai. I have always wanted not to do at an IIT, but become more than an IIT did. Same with IIM.

I really pity the IIT and IIM graduates who have to undergo the study schedules and tortures and I have a view that they are slaves of knowledge and not the original. I had long back changed that attitude. They are really men the outside world cannot understand or appreciate.
And I am reading Chetan Bhgat’s novel and it needs a slow reading. To laugh at the real life situations and remember my college days in Loyola.

No country will have a player like Sachin Tendulkar. But he has played for 20 years! Now I understand the secret of his success. How many ducks he has scored? How many times he had not batted when it was required most? I am not telling this because he belongs to Mumbai and Lata Mangeshkar has said she is like the mother to him.

Because all papers praise him, I cannot join the band. He signed a contract with Pepsi for many years that was the reason he played for so long. He is a bore! How many youngsters he would have stopped in India from playing for India? Does he really deserve this credit?
I need not spend time to take out the exact statistics of how many failures did Tendulkar face! I agree he is a prodigy, but he has overplayed that and curbed many others!

Days are going by and I am waiting. Though I have not been affected by the world economy directly, I hear lot of people saying this. I have no expertise knowledge to analyse what I see in Newspaper or I can say I do not search the net for the News about the current economy. The prices are soaring and people are just carrying on. There has been a drop on the real estate prices in Chennai.

I had a healthy discussion with my friend in Chennai. There were many topics about National and International issues main being the water problem. The rains have failed in Tamilnadu. We Indians, have no respect for environmental issues like the water wastage and the need to address the same. The real issue is being Selfish and not in co-ordination of the Nation or the World.
