Ambimama - India

Today the fight is over! And it has been a good day. The boredom is there but there is no tension as was there yesterday. One has to come forward and say sorry for all that happened. I did not say sorry though! But I was very happy that the fight yesterday was over so soon.

The climate must have done the trick. It is a very happy one in Chennai. The global warming and the recent session concluded has enough warning for us. But the fast life we lead will not make us to listen to any kind of warning or threats. The leading people will warn us, but we may not realize the significance of the present crisis of climate change. Though we realize our lives depend on the changes in the climate, and want to do some good thing about it we are too lazy or dependent on political people. I feel only some miracle should happen to bring the change.

The morning started with a verbal fight with my wife. This happens due to many reasons. No ego or any other personality problems. The emotions had been built up for a long time based on my behaviour physically – that is when I do I take rest and spend time idly. She conveniently forgets my physical (and moral) inability to make myself fit into the demanding tasks of daily routines.

We certainly live a routine life as far physical comforts go and are bored with it. I do not complain to her for watching Tamil TV serials or playing games on computer. She is religious and has a Math like routine. I hate the routine though that is the best advice for me from health experts. I feel like sleeping for hours and would like to keep awake in midnights watching TV or reading. So there are lot of difference in our daily routines. But the fight today is a long pending one and it was bound to come.

What should I do? Just compromise with her and carry on the work! She has her own way of thinking and she may not be right. Though I cannot behave as she wills, at least I need not fight!

The other day I had a talk with my friend. He was worried these days youngsters do not have respect for the elders and parents. He said that these trends prevailed in India too. I said the reason might be due to fast life and money motive. Without money I cannot achieve anything in this world. And we care a lot about money and to earn that we spend a lot of time and effort.
The previous generation people had lots of time for social work and attending to relatives problems of even small nature. They helped one another physically or financially without any problems.
So now what is happening? I really find people are busy, discussing TV serials and have no time for even for visiting near relatives. Gone are the days when people used to invite personally for the marriage of their near ones. I was wondering what is happening to the people and the next day on the morning TV the answer came. In Kali Yuga, people tend to behave this way. I cannot attribute this to any Yuga. I must not blame anyone or find out reasons for blame on my behaviour. I find a remedy to it and I shall find enough time.

I have been receiving lot of mails to be posted in my site. But all of them have a repeated idea of mails or posts that I have already seen. So what should I do? Get bored? The things that I see of poverty in India and other African countries, good powerpoint presentations on love and mother Teresa and of technical companies around the World are just some examples.

I think of many News articles that I see daily but do not post it. The blog itself does not bore me, but I feel people may get bored by my posts. And blogs are getting outdated, so people say by other fast Internet and mobile service providers.

Fast people will always exist in the World just as Normal people. I agree that there are no cycle rickshaws in Chennai city, but there are many still available in other cities in India. The blogs may become outdated to some of the users but still there will be people (more will come later) who will find it interesting to read or give comments. Recently I have observed that I receive more comments about my old articles!

This month today being the first day is very auspicious. The entire month is devoted to the divine Lord Siva and Narayana. The moment we say divine, we think the earthly attachments to the food, the family and the world is evil. It is not like that. The higher the goal, it is difficult to reach. So the Gods come to us in easy reachable ways this month. It will be easy for us as the climate is good and the hymns help us to chant His names. So let us chant his names in the Home, Temple and wherever We are. The normal daily life we will carry on, but a little more devotion to Him is what is needed.
