I have not verified but the music has a touch of Harris. The trailer, Surya and locations are good.
Vaaranam Aayiram in Tamil literally means 1000 songs in praise of the Lord Vishnu sung by Alwars. Only the release and story should reveal the meaning. But I am sure the film will be a delight to watch.

Dictator of Dictator
A great Hollywood actor is forced into act as Dictator in Real Life after the death of the President (The Dictator). The real Dictator is the Chief of Police who runs the system. He forces with killing the actor to impersonate the dead Dictator.
The actor himself is not convinced of the real life role and is afraid he will be exposed. But the crowd and the Chief are fully satisfied and the business goes on. The actor gets all the enjoyment and comforts in life except Freedom. He uses his Harvard brains to win over the Chief of Police who is also from Harward. This is the story of ‘Moon over Parador’. I am watching the movie second time just for the acting excellence of Dictator of Parador (an imaginary African Country) and the humour and dialogues.
One of the dialogues is ‘The Dictator dictates to the Dictator what to dictate’.
Sometimes Democracy is only an external system. But someone else dictates. Like some animals are more equal than other animals in a Communist government.
We do have in Chennai some great Directors and great Stage artists who make us all laugh and enjoy life (for many years in kollywood also). One such great personality is Crazy Mohan whose latest ‘Chocolate Krishna’ is a recent stage comedy show. The benefits from this stage show goes to disabled childrens’ cause. I have planned to watch this show this weekend with my family.
