THE SON - strong message!

I got a beautiful e-mail forward and wanted many people to read. I will send by mail also to my relatives and friends.
————————————-
The SON
This is great, take a moment to read it, it will make your day! The ending will surprise you.

Take my Son
A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.
When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands. He said, “Sir, you don’t know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art.”

The young man held out this package.
“I know this isn’t much. I’m not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this.”
The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture.

“Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It’s a gift.” The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.

On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. “We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?”

There was silence.

Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, “We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.” But the auctioneer persisted.
“Will somebody bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?”
Another voice angrily.

“We didn’t come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh’s, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids!”
But still the auctioneer continued. “The son! The son! Who’ll take the son?”
Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son.

“I’ll give $10 for the painting.”

Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.
“We have $10, who will bid $20?” “Give it to him for $10. Let’s see the masters.”
The crowd was becoming angry. They didn’t want the picture of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel. “Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!”

A man sitting on the second row shouted, “Now let’s get on with the collection!” The auctioneer laid down his gavel. “I’m sorry, the auction is over.”

“What about the paintings?”
“I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings. The man who took the son gets everything!”

Message
God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: “The son, the son, who’ll take the son?”
Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHO SO EVER BELIEVETH, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE…THAT’S LOVE
Please send this to ten people and back to the one who sent it to you.
Do whatever you like, but remember that maybe “one” of the people you might have taken the time to send this to, may be just the person who needs to hear this message. You have a choice to make.”
God Bless.

Sonia is a fighter, Leader and replaces Men Leaders in leading India

Sonia is bold, speaks Hindi and captures the mass.
She does not belong to Gandhi family and yet she is trying a place in the Gandhi family and India. A bold lady, her husband murdered by LTTE, she stands firm.

And Manmohan Singh though a dummy PM acts, takes decisions, which are useful in the long run for India and Globalization.

There are several incidents that SONIA has contributed by her relatives in ITALY to the detriment of India. She is still a bold woman who can lead Congress (I) than the Men, who are after power, money and fooling the public. She was dejected, afraid of Indian Politics. Yet she took a bold decision to bring back Congress to a respectable party.

The Men Leaders in BJP were caught unaware. They BJP has enough and capable leaders are patriotic, Swadeshi and uncorrupt (most of them), they could not politically handle Sonia.

So understanding politics and politicians well is the need of the hour. Else we not comment on what we have misunderstood.

Apart from regional politics, coalition by Maya tactics through Brahmins, is a clever move.

It took 200 years of Civil war to establish United States of America.

And it took months to break the balancing rival USSR. It broke to pieces into so many countries. More abut it later and sure I will answer and address my visitor’s concern and queries.

But our politicians make big annoucements only. And even if they carry out the project they make enough money for themselves.

Infosys-enabled UAE airline website a hit in the Gulf

The website of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) airline Etihad Airways, revamped by Infosys Technologies Ltd, has witnessed a dramatic boost in traffic, with the number of visitors increasing by almost 95 percent.

According to a statement from the Bangalore-based IT firm here on Saturday, the website became a hit in the Gulf region for its customer friendliness, business strategy and design in the first 60 days of its re-launch.

“The average duration per visit on the new website has been slashed by 30 percent compared to the time spent on the old website, illustrating the simplified navigation of the new site,” Etihad e-commerce manager Tehmton Cooper said.

At the annual Pan Arab Awards event, held in Dubai early this week, Etihad bagged the best “Online Strategy” and the “Best International Standards Web Technology” awards for 2007.

The website was also awarded the prestigious Golden Award in the travel and tourism category.

“We engaged Infosys to re-develop our website to create a seamless experience for our customers,” Cooper said, adding that to receive so many prestigious industry awards, so soon after the site’s re-launch, proved how impressive, dynamic and user-friendly the site now was as a result of its collaboration with Infosys.

Infosys also developed the multilingual capabilities of the website to increase Etihad’s presence across the globe.

Jitin Goyal, sales head for EMEA, Infosys Technologies, said, “It’s an honour the new website has been well received by Etihad’s customers and the industry alike. We look forward to doing more innovative and interesting projects for the Gulf airline in the near future.”

Etihad Airways is based in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi. The airline offers flights to 43 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia.

Bin Laden’s deputy behind Lal Masjid bloodbath

Ayman al-Zawahari, Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden’s deputy, secretly directed the Islamic militants whose armed revolt at the Lal Masjid in Islamabad ended last week with a bloodbath.

Meanwhile Musharraf says Lal Masjid operation is ‘not a matter of victory or defeat’:
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has hailed the troops who took part in the operation to flush out militants barricaded in Lal Masjid here and said it was essential to take action against the radicals who were misinterpreting Islam.

“This is not a matter of victory or defeat,” Musharraf said on Saturday, adding that the elements present inside the mosque were misinterpreting Islam for their own benefit and were misleading people as well as creating chaos in the society.

The US Senate on Friday voted to double the bounty on Osama Bin Laden to $50 million and require President George W Bush to refocus on capturing him after reports al-Qaeda is gaining strength.

By a vote of 87-1, the Senate set the reward for the killing or capture, or information leading to the capture, of the mastermind of the September 11 attacks on the United States.

Citing reports that Bin Laden could be in a secure hideaway in Pakistan, Dorgan said, “There should not be one square inch on this planet” that is safe for Bin Laden.

Top US intelligence officials informed the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee this week that inhabitants of remote northwestern Pakistan, where Bin Laden is believed to be holed up, have proved impervious to the financial rewards already on offer from the US government.
